Tremont Electric Chosen as Finalist at Sustainable Brands Innovation Open

CLEVELAND, OH (June 2, 2010) – The Sustainable Brands Innovation Open (SB Innovation Open) announced Tremont Electric, creator of the nPower® PEG, as one of 11 finalists for the 2010 Innovation Open. The SB Innovation Open is in its second year, and is focused on bringing together today’s innovative social and eco-entrepreneurs with investor communities and sustainable brands around the world.

The nPower® PEG, a wearable generator that recharges cell phones, Mp3 players, cameras and GPS devices by harvesting the kinetic energy generated by human motion, was unveiled at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show to rave reviews.
