nPower® PEG named 2012 Edison Award Finalist

Cleveland, OH – Tremont Electric’s nPower® PEG, the world’s first passive kinetic energy charger for personal hand-held electronics, today was named one of three finalists for the 2012 Edison Award, in the Power Generation/Utilization category of Energy & Sustainability.

Named after American history’s most prolific & important inventor, Thomas A. Edison, and in its 25^th year, the Edison Award’s panel of more than 3,000 people judged 2012 entrants based on the primary themes of Concept, Value, Impact, and Delivery.   Winners will be announced April 26 at a gala in New York, NY.  The 2012 Edison Awards are sponsored by Nielsen, Discovery Communications, Science Channel, USA Today, CSRware and applepeak.
